What a good day it's been! Gym, lunch with Dad and siblings for Dad's birthday, a little thrift shopping, some craft shopping, some crafting and then Financial Peace. It's just been a great day to enjoy people and simple things.
We've been on our three-week spring break, and we've wanted to do some fun projects around the house. Someone gave Reed and I a little gift to do something fun over the break with. So today, we purchased the items and worked on some simple projects!
We found some lion playing cards at a thrift store, and of course, we had to buy them.
For today's project, we used some old record cases found at a thrift store, some vinyl letters and white paint to make these simple signs. They'll be going up in our dining room soon!
And here...here are just a few images of my favorite things in our little apartment. This is Reed's bike he put together in California last year. His name is Henry Ross, and he needs new handle bars. But we love him!
We have cranes hanging in our entryway-I love them. They were an important part of our wedding, and I love how they look here. This is a view from our couch into the dining room.
Finally, these are my favorite little weed/flowers. They're billy balls or craspedia, and because they were in the wedding, they're everywhere in the house. We've made great use of our wedding decorations!
